Voice of Democracy
Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders Through the Power of Their Voice
The Voice of Democracy scholarship program encourages high school students to reflect on America’s history, democratic values, and the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. Through an original recorded audio essay, students share their perspectives while developing confidence, leadership, and communication skills that will serve them for years to come.
Why Voice of Democracy Matters
Every generation has a voice that can inspire change. The Voice of Democracy program challenges students in grades 9 through 12 to think critically about patriotism, freedom, and civic responsibility while expressing their ideas through public speaking. More than a scholarship competition, the program helps prepare future leaders by strengthening communication skills, confidence, and civic engagement.
